about

Chris Pemberton

Chris propelled deep into the art scene and within a couple years of creative practices becoming an integral part of his life, he founded, curated and managed an international art show with over 100 participants and many more attendees! The last exhibition was showcased in New Orleans in December 2018. The show ‘Creative Mirror’ aimed to inspire people to unleash their inner creativity, by encouraging nonartists to connect with artists and opening up the art world to all. Members of the public and the art community alike were captivated, engaging them on visual and thought-provoking levels. Using his skills as a tradie, his niche is art meets electrical. His favorite type of art is creations from upcycled construction or other waste and likes to incorporate solar power and LEDs into his works, creating functional and interactive pieces.

Moving to Sydney in 2017 to get amongst the strong creative scene Sydney invites in, Chris has a Studio in the Northern Beaches called the ‘Creative club’ where he regularly opens its doors to the public and friends, passing on his practical knowledge in various techniques to help existing artists and also encourage new people into the scene. He also encourages well known as well as ‘up and coming artists’ to hold classes at the Creative Club so that skills can be passed around to be enjoyed as well as built upon. He believes in collaboration and synergy to produce epic results. Chris founded two photography blogs – Humans of K Road and Humans for the Future as well as helped found Humans of planet Earth.

Chris focuses on bringing humans from all walks of life together to share sustainable ideas and pursue their creative endeavors. Late 2018 Chris published his first book The Creative Soul and had his first book Launch in America. The second book launch party In Sydney early 2019.
